SALEM - Patricia Olive Van Antwerp was born in Bertrand, Nebraska on December 2, 1931. At the age of nine, her family moved to Oregon to start over after losing the family farm.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Lincoln and Olive Olson, her four brothers and sister. Pat married the boy next door. Homer A. Van Antwerp and Pat were married on November 7, 1951. They were married 59 years. Homer passed away in May of 2011, after a lengthy illness.

They are survived by their daughters: Susan (Royce) Halford and Margaret Leehmann. Her granddaughter Linnea (Elvis) Foster, grandsons: Ryan D. Ross and Aaron (Carrie) Pardy. She was blessed with four great-grandsons: Austin, Cameron Brayden, and Ayden.

Pat worked outside the home in sales for many years until her retirement. She was a mom that was always there, she especially loved the time she spent with her grandchildren. She will be in our hearts always.

Viewing Wednesday, July 9, 1-4 pm; memorial service Friday, July 11, 1 pm, both at Restlawn Funeral Home.
