Virgil Franklin Fitz, a resident of Oregon, passed away on December 2, 2015 at the age of 90 in his home in Keizer. Virgil was born July 11, 1925 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He died from congestive heart failure. Virgil moved to Oregon with his wife in 1992 shortly after their retirement.

Virgil’s wife, Naomi Jean (Teeter) Fitz died in August of 2011. His children are Barry Fitz and wife Martha, Diane Cross and Kendal Fitz and wife Mary Lou. He has five grandchildren, Thomas Cross, Sherri Reed, Jennifer Kelly, Tammy Heitsman and Jonathan Fitz. Virgil also has 13 great grandchildren.

The service will be held at Restlawn Funeral Home in Salem, Oregon on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Willamette Valley Hospice.
