Obituary for Kathryn Adele VanWinkle

Kathy VanWinkle, age 72, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 3, 2016.
She was married to Ron VanWinkle. They lived most of their life in Portland, OR on their houseboat. They enjoyed sailing.
Kathy was secretary to the Dean at Portland Community College throughout most of her working career and she loved her ‘69 Camaro. She enjoyed making stained glass and doing oil painting. She loved Smookie, Girly, Popie, Olive Oil, Tamia, Donald, Romio (Boots) and Larry, her cats. She enjoyed eating at different restaurants and enjoyed going to plays and the fair. She was a loving sister.
Survivors are Walter Hudnall, Randy Hudnall, Terry Hudnall, Holly Thornton, and Susan Van Drimmelen.
A Celebration of life will be held in May (Kathy loved the spring time). The date in may with a place and time are not yet set and will be posted to the Statesman Journal in May with that information.
Contribution to her favorite church would be appreciated, that is Elliott Prairie Community Church, care of Margie Campbell at 13023 Elliott Prairie Rd, Woodburn OR 97071.
