Cleo Jean Williams was born December 14, 1929. She went home to be with her Lord on July 2, 2017, at 87 years of age. Cleo was born to Marvin and Leda (Zumwalt) Kelso in Eugene, OR, the 3rd of 3 children. Cleo’s grandparents, the Zumwalts, were Oregon pioneers in 1850. She was a Junction City High School graduate. She met and married Arlie Williams in 1950. They had 3 children: Kathryn Dickinson (Russ) of Park Rapids, Minnesota; Lyndon Williams of Belmont, West Virginia; and David Williams (Karen) of Lebanon, Oregon. They were married 61 years. They lived in Salem (Keizer) for 43 years.
Cleo is survived by her 3 children, 1 grandson, 4 granddaughters, and 6 great grandchildren.
Cleo attended the People’s Church in Salem for many years.
Cleo worked in Imaging at Salem Hospital and for several years provided day care for babies in her home. She enjoyed gardening, creating floral arrangements, and sewing. Cleo and Arlie enjoyed many trips in their RV and camping with family on the coast and in the mountains.
Cleo was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She believed her greatest achievement was her family.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
