Obituary for
Teresa Rak
Teresa Rak (80) peacefully passed on February 4, 2018. Born in Stayton, Oregon on May 10, 1937 to Walter and Mabel (Sherman) Rak, Teresa was one of six children. She lived life to the fullest, and was a caring and insightful person to be around. After receiving her GED, Teresa went on to work at the State of Oregon Fairview Hospital and Training Center, in which she stayed with them for over 27 years. She was a proud member of the Eagles, loved to be outside in the yard, and working in her garden; she loved flowers. Teresa had a determined, feisty, hardworking spirit, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Mabel Rak, her two sisters Rose Rak and Mary Ann Koehler, and brother in law Dale Rubel. And she is survived by her sisters; Joanne (Bernie) Pietrok of Scio, OR, and Kathleen Rubel of Sublimity, OR, and her brother Jim Rak of Salem, OR, as well as 14 nieces and nephews.
Services for Teresa will be held on February 16th, 2018 at Restlawn Funeral Home in Salem, OR. Viewing will start at 8:30 am, and services will start at 10:00am. A private burial will follow.
