Condolence: Suzanne was an amazing woman, so full of fun and attitude even when she was exhausted. I met Suzanne at Kathy's Knit Korner in 2010. When Jim died, she asked my husband to conduct the memorial service for him. Later on she and Rick often joined us knitters at McMennamin's and at Prime Time Restaurants in Forest Grove on Tuesdays for about two years. Suzanne also came to knitting events at New Seasons in Hillsboro and to a few knitting potluck suppers at my home prior to marrying Rick. She and Dorie and I went on the Portland area yarn crawl in 2011 and 12. What a great time we had! About two weeks prior to her death, Suzanne and I met to work on her learning a new skill and she was looking forward to working with me on others over the next few months. She was also committed to going with a group of us on this year's yarn crawl bus. Suzanne was very dear to me and others who enjoyed the twinkle in her eyes and her spirited laugh/snort. I hope you will draw comfort knowing she was so well loved and that she will be sorely missed. I feel fortunate to have called her my friend.
