Obituary for Myrna Elaine Lamb Turnbow

Myrna Elaine Lamb  Turnbow
5-10-1938 to 1-11-2018
Myrna was born in Hebron, NE to John and Mildred Harroun Lamb. She was predeceased by her parents John and Susan Lamb, Johnie and Mildred Harroun Lamb Howe and her beloved husband John Junior Turnbow.
Myrna met the love of her life at the age of 17 and they were married April 28, 1956 in Carson City, NV. They had 4 children, Robert Turnbow, Carol (David) Toynbee, Tracy (David) Loutzenhiser and John Christopher Turnbow. She has 12 grandchildren, Jenn Jolley, Michelle Turnbow, David (Chrissy) Turnbow, Michael and Shawn Moody, Jessica Toynbee; Brittany and Allysa Carpenter and Larry and Jamie Loutzenhiser and Courtney (Sean) Dalla Bona and Ezekiel Turnbow. She also had 9 great grandchildren.
Myrna held many different positions in her career wife and mother were her greatest ones. She worked for the Secretary of State Corporations Division State of Oregon for 20 years. She had also worked as a waitress for many years prior to this.
Myrna loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally and treasured the times she got to spend with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and remembered for her sense of humor and whit.
For the past several years Myrna lived with her brother and nieces in Alabama. They helped take care of her when she was not well and did a wonderful job. She loved them all very much and our family would like to thank them for their love and support. She is survived by her brother John Benjamin Lamb, two aunts and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dog Molly Mae.
Myrna will be placed next to John on Thursday March 1st at 10:00 a.m. family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
