Obituary for Robert "Bob" Yunker

Bob Yunker was born March 13, 1938 in Salem, Oregon to Otto and Mildred Yunker. He passed away on January 30, 2015 in Stayton, Oregon. Bob's childhood was spent in Keizer, Oregon. He attended Keizer Elementary, Parrish Junior High, and North Salem High schools. He was an active Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Explorer Scout having achieved the rank of Eagle. Bob attended Oregon State University where he met life-long friends through Beta Theta Pi fraternity and earned a degree in Engineering.

His work career included world-wide jobs as a Mechanical Engineer and Industrial Appraiser. Bob was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and regular gatherings with long-time school friends and work-mates. Bob is survived by his wife of 42 years Sri, his brother Dick, children: Todd, Ed, Bruce, and Martha. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Tamara, Danielle, Bryce, Mikayla, Alex, and Christian. Preceding him in death were his parents, Otto and Mildred, and his brother Cliff.
