Jean Marie  Miller (Gibby)
Jean Marie Miller passed from the loving embrace of her family into the open arms of her Lord Jesus on October 22. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harlan R. Miller of Salem, sister Sharon (Howard) Poppleton, brother Lee (Eleanor) Gibby, and daughters Cheryl (Jeff) Helgerson, Sandra (Jim) Cavaliere, and Allison (Tom) Davis, and son Scott (Kim) Miller. She was preceded in death by parents Delmar and Jennie Pope Gibby, sister Frances Millington, and granddaughter Barbara Gray. She had 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Ogden Utah and moved to Moses Lake Washington where she completed high school. She married Harlan in her parents home in the Silverton Hills.
She spent many happy hours gardening. She sang in her church choir and was a DAR member. She loved to travel.
Viewing will be at Restlawn Funeral Home Thursday, October 26th, 1-5 pm. Graveside services will be at Macleay Cemetery, Friday, October 27th, 11 am. Memorial service will be at Grace Baptist Church in Salem at 1 pm.
